The Impact of Multilingualism on Personal Identity Development

In the next meeting on, we gave impromptu speeches on the topic of "THE IMPACT OF MULTILINGUALISM ON PERSONAL IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT." There are more than 5 students (i think? I forgot) including me, shared their thoughts on what multilingualism is, its benefits, and their personal experiences. They explained that being multilingual means speaking more than one language, which helps us communicate easily with foreigners, open our perspective, and helps us make more friends while embracing different cultures. The purpose of the exercise was to help us overcome our fear and nervousness when speaking in public, at first i was so worried not being able to speak in front of my friend and especiallyin front of Mr. Udi, but i managed it by encouraging my self that if they can do it, so do i.

After the impromptu speeches, we had a group discussion. So for the first, Mr. Udi asked us to create 3-5 questions about multilingualism. Once we finished, then we discussed and answered the questions as a group, making sure everyone contributed. At the end of the session, each group presented the results of their discussion to the class.
